                     CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR ACTIVITIES TO RAISE AWARENESS
OF TRADE ISSUES AND
ENHANCE EXPERTISE

                    The European Commission's Directorate General for
Trade is pleased to inform you that the 2006 call for
proposals for activities to raise awareness of trade
issues and enhance expertise has been launched.

  The specification for this call and the application forms are available
on the DG Trade website:

The procedure for submitting an application must be made according to the
following
two phases:

(1) submission of preliminary proposals (deadline 23 June 2006)

These preliminary proposals will be examined after which the organisations
whose
proposals have been shortlisted will be asked for the:

(2) submission of detailed applications for pre-selected proposals
(deadline -
September 2006).
