This was posted earlier..., but for those who did not see it, Dr.
Andrew Searles from the Australian National University (ANU) will
give a talk on the impact of the US/Australia FTA on prices for
medicine. This event is open to anyone. (RSVPs to

Dr. Andrew Searles, a scholar involved with a study conducted
by Australian National University and the University of Newcastle on
the impacts of trade agreements on medicines, will present:
A methodology for identifying and measuring the impact of the
Free Trade Agreement between Australia and the United States
(AUSFTA) on the price, supply and demand of pharmaceuticals
in Australia
The presentation will describe one arm of a broader study as it
focuses on the Australia - US Free Trade Agreement.
