*/ Ankara./* The amendment to the Regulations for sale of tobacco,
tobacco products, alcohol and alcoholic drinks, was published today in
the Turkish state gazette, *Anadolu* agency announced. According to the
amendment, sale of tobacco products and alcoholic drinks via the
Internet, media, telephone and fax, is prohibited. The new amendment
will come into effect on January 1, 2006.
