I just received word from WHO that Peru has ratified the FCTC,
making it the 40th country to do so. This is a truly historic day that
would not have happened without all of your hard work. I can't recall a
recent treaty that became law so quickly after being negotiated. You
should all be very proud of what you have accomplished and inspired to
now ensure that it is propoerly implemented and enforced.
