BIG TOBACCO'S GLOBAL EXPANSION GOT YOU OUTRAGED?

The World Health Organization projects that the global tobacco industry
will kill over 10 million people annually by the year 2030 -- the
equivalent of more than 70 jet planes crashing each and every day. A
whopping 70% of these deaths will occur in low-income regions of the
world, the very regions with the fewest resources to combat the global
tobacco epidemic.

As Big Tobacco expands its deadly business around the world, it is vital
that we similarly globalize the resistance! Essential Action has just
launched a "tobacco-activist" mailing list for people who want to TAKE
ACTION.  List traffic will be low, averaging 2 easy-to-participate-in
actions per month.
