Preliminary draft Convention on Exclusive Choice of Court Agreements
Documents in preparation of the Twentieth Diplomatic Session

	The Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International 
Law presents its compliments to the National Organs of the Member States 
and the Observers and, further to circular letter L.c. ON No 34(04) 
dated 2 December 2004, has the honour to transmit to them
./.	herewith the following documents in English and French:

“The Relationship between the Judgments Project and some Regional 
Instruments in the Arena of the Commonwealth of Independent States”, 
drawn up by Eleonora Gerasimchuk for the Permanent Bureau (Preliminary 
Document No 27 for the attention of the Twentieth Diplomatic Session);

“The Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family 
and Criminal Matters” (Information Document No 1, submitted by the 
Delegation of the Russian Federation for the attention of the Twentieth 
Diplomatic Session).

	These documents are also available on the Hague Conference’s website at 
< http://www.hcch.net > under “Work in progress”.

	Member States and Observers are reminded that they are invited to 
submit comments relating to the preliminary draft Convention, as well as 
its Explanatory Report, which was sent to them on 2 December 2005 (see 
above-mentioned circular letter) to the Permanent Bureau by 15 April 2005.

	These comments will be made available to other delegations and 
Observers in preparation of the Diplomatic Session.

	The Permanent Bureau avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the 
National Organs and the Observers an assurance of its highest 
consideration and esteem.
