Commission on Jurisdiction and Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign
Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters

The Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International
Law presents its compliments to the participants in the April 2004
Special Commission meeting and has the honour to transmit to them
herewith the new version of the document entitled "Preliminary draft
Convention on Exclusive Choice of Court Agreements - Draft Report",
drawn up by the Co-rapporteurs Masato Dogauchi and Trevor C. Hartley
following the latest meeting of the Special Commission on Jurisdiction,
Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil and Commercial
Matters, held in April 2004 (Prel. Doc. No 26 for the attention of the
Twentieth Diplomatic Session). This document is also available on the
Hague Conference's website at < http://www.hcch.net > under "Work in
progress".

Please note that this version of the Draft Report, in English only, is
provisional, pending the completion of the bilingual version.

The Permanent Bureau avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the
participants in the April 2004 Special Commission meeting assurances of

Le Bureau Permanent de la Conférence de La Haye de droit international
privé présente ses compliments aux participants à la Commission spéciale
d'avril 2004 et a l'honneur de leur transmettre ci-joint la nouvelle
version de l'« Avant-projet de Convention sur les accords exclusifs
d'élection de for - Projet de rapport », établi par les
co-rapporteurs Masato Dogauchi et Trevor C. Hartley à l'issue de la
Commission spéciale sur la compétence, la reconnaissance et l'exécution
des jugements étrangers en matière civile et commerciale qui s'est tenue
en avril 2004 (Doc. prél. No 26 à l'attention de la Vingtième session
diplomatique). Ce document est également disponible sur le site Internet
de la Conférence de La Haye < http://www.hcch.net >, sous la rubrique «
Travaux en cours ».
	
Cette version du Projet de rapport, en anglais uniquement, est
provisoire en attendant l'établissement de la version bilingue. 
	
Le Bureau Permanent saisit cette occasion pour renouveler aux
participants à la Commission spéciale d'avril 2004 l'assurance de sa
