Take Action: Encourage Uganda to sign the FCTC!

Dear Friends,

Uganda's Minister of Health has in two recent speeches pledged to sign
and ratify the FCTC. In the latter, he mentioned September 2003 as the
date by which Uganda will have ratified the FCTC. September is drawing
to a close, yet Uganda still hasn't signed the FCTC, let alone ratify
it.  Phillip Karugaba of The Environmental Action Network believes the
Uganda's Minister of Health could use some additional encouragement from
tobacco control advocates from around the world.
