Lauren and all,
H-1B has been greatly expanded and Googles financial statement
of last quarter reflects the exact opposite ( over hiring ) as a reason it gave
stockholders like myself for losses. Hence the contradiction. Additionally
Google's chief legal council made false claims to the SEC, in which they
were fined for doing so, which again is another contradiction to what
they testified to in congress. And finally, also testifying that due to H-1B
restrictions, a false claim by Google "regularly > unable to pursue highly
qualified candidates." Doesn't jibe with the fact that H-1B visa program
has been greatly exexpanded or claims of ( over hiring ) in Googles
2nd quarter statements. If Google really wanted to cut cost
of company-wide hiring, taking advantage of the greatly expanded
H-1B and H-2B visa programs is one very good was to do that.
Ergo, so which should Congress believe? From where I sit or any
other stock holder sits, which should we believe?
