[Ecommerce] DG Trade: IPR target countries

DG Trade new trade strategy document sets out priority countries who will
be the focus of the Commissions work on IPR enforcement ( pp20-21). These
will be China, ASEAN, Korea, Merosur, Chile, Russia and Ukraine

On Page 19 (c) of the strategy doc it also refers to Transatlantic co
operation:
It commends the June 2006 Us-EU agreement on enforcement against
counterfeiting and piracy.

It also states' Our weight(EU and US) in the world economy means that co
operation between the EU and the US in addressing areas such as IPR
protection will be of great importance'
