Many people have focused on the fate of p2p but there are many other
important issues such a the rejection of an exception for teaching!
In any case, the vote will probably take place in March. To prepare
for it if you're in Paris:
French Senate announced Wednesday a roundtable re copyright and
related rights on February 1st. The public roundtable will examine
the issues raised by p2p file sharing and the new law.
On Feb 2, Martine Billard (Les Verts), Representative of the 1st
Paris "district" and a member of the Commission on cultural and
social affairs invites the public to a discussion on copyright,
culture and new technologies
