This week, the U.S.
economy is being put at
risk at the biennial
(that means every two
years) General Assembly
meeting of the World
Intellectual Property
Organization (WIPO).
WIPO is the venue, not
the problem. The problem
is a cabal of
anti-capitalist,
anti-corporate,
neoMarxist activists who
are attempting to use
international
organizations such as
WIPO to force harmful
policies on the nations
of the world.
Because we recognize
that intellectual
property (IP) is a key
driver of economic
growth, IPI has made IP
a policy priority. IPI
will be at the WIPO
General Assembly
meeting, and we'll be
reporting on
developments through our
popular blog on
intellectual property,
IPBlog.org. And we'll
also be releasing the
