The article below is fairly long and impassioned tale of record company
actions against teenagers in Australia.

Its purpose is to highlight that the Australian Government is currently
consulting on whether to introduce fair use provisions in their copyright
Act. As the author says:

(1) The recording industry cannot be trusted to responsibly protect their

protect themselves from unjust prosecution by public authorities.''
