*SURVEY ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ENFORCEMENT IN THIRD COUNTRIES*
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS*
*External Trade is launching a survey to assess the situation regarding
enforcement of intellectual property rights (IPR) in countries outside
the European Union.*
The survey is addressed in particular to holders of IPR (including
companies, associations, chambers of commerce, etc.) suffering from
infringements of such rights in countries outside the European Union.
Right holders are invited to participate actively in this exercise and
fill in the questionnaire, which will allow External Trade to define its
priorities regarding the enforcement of IPR abroad, as established in
the recently issued Enforcement Strategy.
