Patent Law Harmonization Exploratory Meeting Set for This Week

The USPTO will host an exploratory meeting in Alexandria on Thursday and
Friday to discuss the current state of substantive patent law
harmonization, and possible approaches for moving harmonization forward
among World Intellectual Property Organization Member States. The
meeting is limited to government representatives only.
Representatives from Canada, Australia, Japan, the European Commission,
the European Patent Office and the Member States of the European Patent
Convention have been invited to attend the meeting.
