[Ecommerce] WIPO meetings related to the Development Agenda in 2005

Today we were informed that WIPO will convene an inter-sessional
intergovernmental meeting in April 11-13, 2005 to examine the proposals
in document WO/GA/31/11 (Proposal by Argentina and Brazil for the
Establishment of a Development Agenda for WIPO*).  *This meeting is open
to all WIPO Member States.  According to the WIPO General Assembly (GA)
Decision on a Development Agenda adopted on October 4, 2004,
WIPO-accredited IGOs and NGOs are invited to participate as observers in
this meeting.

The Permanent Committee on Cooperation for Development Related to
Intellectual Property (PCIPD) will be held on April 14-15, 2005.
This meeting is open to all WIPO Member States.  According to the WIPO
GA Decision on a Development Agenda, WIPO-accredited IGOs and NGOs are
invited to participate as observers in this meeting.

A joint international seminar convened by WIPO and other relevant
multilateral organizations on Intellectual Property and Development will
be held on May 2-3, 2005.  According to the WIPO GA Decision on a
Development Agenda, this seminar will be open to the participation of
all stakeholders, including NGOs, civil society and academia.
