[Ecommerce] Dutch Parliament votes to ask its government to withdraw support to software patentability

Last news: The Dutch Parliament voted on 1st of July, 2004 a resolution to ask
its government to modify its vote emitted in the European Council of 18 May
2004. This is first time in the history of the European Construction that the
Dutch Parliament has used this prerogative. However the Dutch government is
not obliged to abide. It if does, there no longer is a qualified majority for
the "political agreement" of 18 May 2004 on software patentability (see
below).
