[Ecommerce] Reminder: meeting and RFC regarding the WSIS Draft Declaration of
principles and Action Plan

Sally Shipman sent a reminder that there will be a meeting of the
International Telecommunication Advisory Committee (ITA) to discuss WSIS
on Thursday, April 17 from 10:30-12:00 at the Historic National Academy
of Science Building. The National Academy of Sciences is located at
2100 C St. N.W. Washington, D.C. Members of the public are welcome to
participate. The official meeting notice, No. 4301, may be found in the
Federal Register.
The discussion will focus on the Draft Declaration of Principles and
Draft Plan of Action for the WSIS. Both documents can be found on the
WSIS website: www.itu.int/wsis. Look under the section entitled,
"PrepCom 3 and Intersessional Period".
The State Department welcomes comments on the two documents
(www.itu.int/wsis) - and would appreciate receiving comments in writing.
All written comments will be distributed to the ITAC list.
