FTC Feb19-20  Workshop on cross-border fraud:

I just talked with Ms. Mithal from the FTC.  The --stil provisional-- 
structure of the workshop will look like:

Panels on:
- Banks;
- Credit card companies;
- Postal services;
- 2 Internet-related panels:
    - Domain name registrar/registry issues;
    - ISP and e-commerce companies.

The FTC has invited some European Commission and cc-TLDs folks.  The 
workshop will therefore also be international in scope.  It will 
focus on the practical means for sharing information between law 
enforcement and private companies.

Ms. Mithal told me that she has already received a lot of requests to 
participate on the domain name registrar/registry panel.
