Good day.  For those of you who are interested and especially those
planning to attend the Global E-Commerce Policy teleconferences on this
Wednesday and next Tuesday, you may wish to review the Comments of the
United States to the UNCITRAL Secretariat's Note, WP.98.  It is now
available at the UNCITRAL website and can be accessed directly at the

As a reminder, the teleconferences are scheduled as follows:

         *Wednesday, October 2nd, 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM EDT (1500 GMT)

         Tuesday, October 8th, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM EDT (1400 GMT).

*Everyone is invited to attend this open meeting.  If you plan to attend
either meeting, please email me directly (*_not_* the entire list) by
Tuesday, October 1st  My email address is _wjl@rh.edu_.  Your RSVP will
help to assure that the there will be enough phone lines to accommodate
everyone including those who may be calling in from outside the U.S.
