"The Internet economy of the United States is the most robust and
widespread of any in the world, and that is chiefly caused by the robust
competitive markets we have created by the new policies led more by Al
Gore than by any other single person in public life."

    [snip]

Mr. Nader says that DSL companies are not "protected" from CLECs. In
fact, DSL companies exist because of the pro-DSL and pro-attacker
regulations of the FCC. Any of their CEOs would say so. I know them and
know this is true. Indeed, many if not all of them are public supporters
of Al Gore.

    [snip]

Mr. Nader asserts that cable companies will use their "gatekeeper" role
to limit access to the Internet. Today's newspapers show attention to
this potential issue in real time by real Clinton appointees. In any
event, there is absolutely no marketplace evidence to prove Mr. Nader's
claim.
