[Dioxin-l] WB tries to build incinerator in Philippines

Hi folks,

As you probably have heard, there is now a legal ban on incineration in
place in the Philippines. In spite of this, the International Finance
Corporation, the private-sector lending arm of the World Bank, is
attempting to finance the construction of a medical waste incinerator as
part of a new high-end hospital near Manila. The documents are available at:
