TAMING THE GIANT CORPORATION:
A National Conference on Corporate Accountability
<www.tamethecorporation.org>

Presented by Ralph Nader and
The Center for Study of Responsive Law

June 8, 9 and 10, 2007

1530 P Street, NW
Washington, DC 20005

The central, pioneering task of "Taming the Giant Corporation" is to
facilitate discussion, debate and strategic thinking about how to
subordinate corporate power to the will and interests of the people. How
do we replace the excessive corporate privileges and immunities
entrenched in law and the economy?

Details on the conference (and on-line registration) are at:

<www.tamethecorporation.org>

The conference features an extraordinary line-up of people to drive the
conversation. Speakers include Senator Bernie Sanders, Representative
Dennis Kucinich, Ralph Nader, Dr. Steffi Woolhandler (Co-Founder of
Physicians for a National Health Program), Mark Green (the new President
of Air America)), Thea Lee (Policy Director, AFL-CIO), Amy Goodman (Host
of Democracy Now), Katherine Redford (Co-Founder of EarthRights
International), Ilyse Hogue (Campaign Director, MoveOn.org Political
Action) and Robert Greenstein (Executive Director, Center on Budget and
Policy Priorities). There are lots of other great speakers and participants.

There is a $50 fee for attendance, but conference organizers aim to
accommodate anyone for whom the fee is a barrier to attendance. To
register and request a scholarship, contact Drew Bush (dbush@csrl.org or
