[corp-focus] Apology: virus sent in previous message

Friends:

On Weds, a message went out over the list with the subject line, "Or
email the." This message contained a virus.

If you haven't already, please delete it. If anyone now has the virus on
their computer as a result of this message, we're really sorry.

The message was sent by someone or some program that forged my email address.

However, the list program that we use, mailman, is robust. The program
can be configured so that the virus would have been stopped. I had
failed to activate the appropriate settings, and if I had, the virus
would not have been transferred. The appropriate settings have now been
adopted, which should prevent the re-occurrence of any such incident.

For the hassle this caused you all and especially for any greater
difficulties for anyone who might have acquired a virus as a result,
please accept our apologies.
