actually I think there are several things on the Microsoft scene worth 
commenting on including patenting of software, their claims against Open 
Source software and Linux in particular, their pricing policies in SouthEast 
Asia, and a couple of other things I cannot recall.

however, this is about the 3rd time in the last couple of months you have 
'offered' to shut down the list. look, I very much appreciate what you have 
done and I tip my hat to you but if you are tired of it and the hassle, you 
need no excuse from us: take a break, shut it down, make a hiatus, kill it 
off, whatever you need to do. 

maybe someone else would undertake the work, I don't know what's really 
involved. 

but whatever you do, you have my gratitude; do what you think is best.
