Yeah, yeah its OT, what a horrible thing - tune it out, get a life.
The election is hot stuff right now, there's ZIP MS stuff to talk about,
and in the scheme of things our disdain for MS seems far less important.

John, we've had this one before. You said you had other priorities and
that's why you supported Bush in 2000. I'm fairly certain that taxes
and moral issues were your other concerns, but I don't recall exactly
what you said. Certainly Iraq was NOT one of your other concerns at
the time. Sadam was a pain int the butt that needed to be watched, but he
was a ZERO on the national debate at the time. Nation building was however
listed as a bad plan by Mr Bush, at least so he said then.

'9/11 changed everything' Bull. Most things remain as they were. Right
is still right, wrong is still wrong. Stupid policies still cost lives and money.
There were no significant ties between the 9/11 twits and Iraq until AFTER
our occupation.

When find them selves saying that everyone else is wrong and you are
right, that's when its time to change your name - Bill Gates comes to mind.
You know the French actually have WMD's, of the nukular variety -
(God I'm going to miss hearing that! 4 more days!). Are you suggesting
that we should invade them too? I think you'll them a hell of lot tougher
than the Iraqi's. GW seems to bring out the absolute worst in Americans.

I believe John Kerry acted honorably in attacking the BOGUS War in Vietnam.
We killed a million Vietnamese and 50,000 American troops in a BS proxy war
as part of a faulty cold war strategy. In the end it failed - Things turned out
the same in 75 as they would have turned out if we had left in 60 - The North
took over, but eventually the Soviet Union fell apart under its own weight and
so the cold war ended. Some claim that the protesters lengthened the war by
breaking the US resolve to carry it out 'properly' - does 'properly' mean
killing twice as many Vietnamese? All such speculation is nonsensical; The
war might just as likely gone on longer with the same conclusion had there
been no protests.

Like it or not we have the right to protest our government's actions when we disagree.
Kerry Betrayed no one. Our leaders betrayed us and in particular the soldiers whom
they conscripted to carry out a ill conceived policy.

So, that's what I believe John, and it seems vastly more rational to me than what you
believe, and certainly is no less meritorious.
