[Am-info] My apology for strange messages

Something very strange has been happening to this
list for the last several weeks.

I began to suspect intervention and stopping
some messages by the people who maintains the email
servers for Essential Information -- and for this
reason I sent a variety of test emails to the list.

I did not receive them, and I am on the list as
a recipient.

I sent one political message to the list over and
over again, a total of 6 times. I never received a
copy, and I'm told that some on the list received
them, and some did.

Last evening, I sent three test "political" messages,
with texts:

Vote for Ralph Nader. NAder is good.
Vote for George Bush. Bush is good.
Vote for John Kerry. Kerry is good.

I won't bother you again with strange political stuff.

This gives me enough of an audit trail to research
what is happening.

I think we can all agree to keep political stuff of
this list, everyone is entitled to their own opinion
and there are plenty of lists for politics.

Of course, the nonprofit organization that hosts this
list was founded by Ralph Nader, and independent
candidate in the U.S. election. Ralph is an honorable man,
and I could not imagine him condoning censorship.
We needed to find out, and I will.

Again, sorry to bother you.
