Mozilla's Firefox 1.0, introduced only last month, is making
aggressive moves against the monopoly Microsoft Explorer has clamped
on the market. While nowhere near the browser war that was MS versus
Netscape, the one million downloads Firefox received in its first
week is certainly a sign that users are actively seeking
alternatives.
