It mentions that they're going to charge for e-mail accounts to 
cut down on SPAM.

What conspicuously wasn't mentioned in the piece above is that once
they start charging everyone for a Hotmail account that they might
remove the advertising stuff at the bottom of one's e-mail.

I doubt they will.  Then Hotmail subscribers will be paying for
Microsoft's SPAM, the whole circular reasoning for making more
money, I think.
