I do believe the original post was on topic, as it shows the power Bill
Gates and Microsoft have in the United States, which last I looked is
where they are located and where they lost a lengthy Anti-Trust trial,
with the resultant mediocre penalties gutted at the behest of their
lackies in the then new administration.
As to electronic voting, that is an international issue. I seem to recall
that some of the earliest widespread use was in Australia. Was Microsoft
involved in that? And were there problems either way? Was there any form
of non-electronic audit trail?
