MEMO: MICROSOFT PLANNED PATENT OFFENSE

An internal memo that leaked out of HP shows that Microsoft had plans to use 
patent power to close the doors on open source. The memo, which is about two 
years old, said that Microsoft planned to attack open source via the legal 
system and patent infringement lawsuits.
