[Am-info] The Register: Sun settles with MS for $2bn (ish)

Yet another antitrust suit settled for Microsoft.  It's ostensibly a
win for both parties because Sun gets some much needed cash (they just
laid off a few thousand more employees) and the remedies it sought for
itself in the EU anti-trust action.  It's a win for Microsoft because
the terms of the settlement are only between them and Sun and do not
mean any concessions to other parties, such as open source coders.
