You bet it is. Even in a limited democracy, I believe.

Well, that's healthy, too, but remember others may think
otherwise whether we agree with each other, them, or not.

My argument would be toward a claim of empowerment
of the middle class and I'm sure that that will warrant cause
for our existing political system. That's not a mandate of support
for Mr Nader, by the way. Even if I had BillyG's money,
I know I'd feel the same way.
Mr Nader's bid for top slot seems very dodgy, but whatever his
agenda, he has the right, and we have the obligation to get him
to articulate it. That's where democracy lives. Perhaps we should
move on to forums more political?

lead to stasis of the argument, and that was not my intent.
