Well, me too, and lots of folks I know.
The attachments I've seen are usually "text.zip", or something
like "test.scr" or other Windows executables with extensions
like, .bat, .pif, and .exe. One that I got was:
"test.txt .exe"
which has 70 spaces in the middle. With many Windows applications,
the ".exe" at the end falls outside the listbox window so the unsuspecting
may open it thinking it's only a text message. I "reverse engineered"
many of them and found that they were all viruses of the MyDoom
flavor.
I don't run eComStation [yet] but I do only use its eldest brother, OS/2.
Even if I opened any, they wouldn't infect me, and wouldn't affect eCS.
