Mitch,

No worry. As moderator, I received your email to review,
and it seemed best to me to NOT forwardan email with the
subhect HELLO that appeared to have one of the virus
executables -- I killed.

As I stated in a previous email, none of my computers has
an Outlook address book. But, I have received maybe 100
bounces or "you send virus" complaints from others.

These emails typically use some part of my actual email
address but change the name part, such as pedro@gainesgroup.com
or aa12341234123424@gainesgroup.com, etc.

So, I will suffer through these until some entity takes the
SPAM problem in hand and takes serious steps to correct it --
by that I mean instituting criminal penalties and beginning
to jail some people.

By the way, at the risk of antagonizing some good people on
this list, after some thought I am a strong opponent to
any charge for email. I don't care how the charge is
assessed, or how small it might be, IT IS WRONG.

Email is a form of speech, and a way that small people and
important people, people in poor countries and rich countries
can exchange thoughts on an equal basis.

I see an attempt to charge for email another attach on a
free and open Internet, equivalent to a variety of other
disgusting attempts by organizations such as Microsoft,
Verisign, etc. to put up toll gates and take "just a little"
for each electronic transaction.

Personally, I WILL FIGHT THOSE ATTEMPTS.
