I run a mail list for OS/2 news announcments, with almost 1,000
subscribers. I frequently get rejections, either someone subscribed with
the wrong email address, their account is on hold, they think the post is
SPAM, etc. Unless they take into account a process like these lists
somehow, I don't see how it is workable.
What they need to do is get all the dumb windoze users off the internet
and the SPAMers will leave as well. I say this as I'm being inundated
with the latest windoze virus, and rejection messages from ISPs too stupid
to realize I didn't send the original SPAM but my address was spoofed.
Why can't some script-kiddy write a virus that would cause the windozeDOS
user's head to explode when it's opened! That would solve all our
problems, as these people are just too stupid to even not open an email
that would say "This will cause our head to explode".
