A couple of interesting reads I've found recently on SCO and how it
relates to Microsoft:

My favourite part:
CRN: Conspiracy theorists say you guys are acting as Microsoft's
pawn against open source and the General Public License [GPL]. Can
you comment?
McBride: The funny part is we didn't even talk to Microsoft about
this outside the normal public interest level things... when we
talk to them it's about what's happening in the marketplace.
Also, Groklaw is carrying a pretty good analysis of how SCO's FUD
against open source is meant to slow open source adoption enough to
allow Microsoft to roll out Next Generation Secure Computing Base and
further increase customer lock-in:
