His condescending attitude fits in well with the Microsoft mantra: "we
know what's best for the users and the industry.  If you disagree,
then you must be mistaken.  You do not understand technology or us."

In general, the so-called technology pundits in the mainstream
newspapers are clueless, biased or both.  Anyone who's serious about
technology should be skeptical of them.
