I've stopped in on the archives a couple of times, but it seems not much
has changed here. I decided to put together some stats on the list,
based on top five posters by year:

    2000 postings by address:

249 : Wandered Inn <esoteric@denali.atlnet.com>
257 : "Simon Cooke" <spectecjr@hotmail.com>
273 : Mitch Stone <mitch@accidentalexpert.com>
370 : Paul Rickard <mail@msbc.simplenet.com>
406 : Mitch Stone <mstone@vc.net>

2001 postings by address:

212 : "John J. Urbaniak" <jjurban@attglobal.net>
276 : "Erick Andrews" <eandrews@star.net>
324 : Paul Rickard <pr@ms-bc.com>
474 : Mitch Stone <mitch@accidentalexpert.com>
491 : "Fred A. Miller" <fm@cupserv.org>

2002 postings by address:

209 : John Poltorak <jp@eyup.org>
225 : Paul Rickard <pr@ms-bc.com>
240 : "Erick Andrews" <eandrews@star.net>
323 : "John J. Urbaniak" <jjurban@attglobal.net>
959 : "Fred A. Miller" <fm@cupserv.org>
     : "Fred A. Miller" <fmiller@lightlink.com>

2003 postings by address:

41 : "John J. Urbaniak" <jjurban@attglobal.net>
54 : "Erick Andrews" <eandrews@star.net>
56 : Mitch Stone <mitch@accidentalexpert.com>
59 : Roy Bixler <rcb@bix.org>
466 : "Fred A. Miller" <fm@cupserv.org>
     : "Fred A. Miller" <fmiller@lightlink.com>

year total # posts # of Fred posts %total posts
2000 4261 0 0%
2001 3852 491 12%
2002 3380 959 28%
2003 830 466 56%

Anyone see a pattern? First, the number of postings have dropped
dramatically. Secondly, Fred virtually owns the list with his Linux
propaganda. Why don't the list owners either let this pathetic list
die, or change the name to Freds-Linux-info??

Anyone EVER been on a list where ONE person had over 50% of the
postings? Let it die folks it's a waste of bandwidth.

Flames to /dev/null folks as I'll not stick around long enough to
receive them. Nothing useful here in the way of Microsoft information.
It's sad, it was a good list and is still necessary...
