WINDOWS 2000 GETS FOURTH SERVICE PACK
Posted June 27, 2003 5:27 AM Pacific Time
Microsoft released Service Pack 4 for Windows 2000 on
Thursday, a bundle of all updates and patches for the
operating system released since Service Pack 3 last August.
Microsoft also updated the End User License Agreement (EULA)
for Windows 2000 to address privacy concerns. Users are now
told more specifically about features in the product that
will "call home" to Microsoft, said Bob O'Brien, group
product manager in Microsoft's Windows Server division, in
Redmond, Wash.
