True, but then AIX must be a goldmine many times over (is there such a thin=
g?) to IBM, whereas OS/2 -- especially after Warp hit the streets -- proved=
to be a very costly beast in terms of end user support. IBM's fault, of co=
urse, but by then the damage had been done.
BTW: no flames please. I am still going for an entry in the Guinness Book o=
f Records as The Computer User Who Has Never Owned a Windows Box. My deskto=
p OS is not Linux, nor am I running an Apple (yet?), and my CP/M and PC-DOS=
/DesqView days are long past. You can work out the rest for yourselves.
