I wouldn't assume that just because IBM says it "will stand behind our products
and our customers," that it will really do so.   IBM executives are proven
cowards.  They dumped their most technically advanced product (OS/2) and betrayed
their most loyal customers when Microsoft played a little hardball.

I am sure Microsoft has other weapons in its arsenal that it can use against IBM
poltroons in pinstripes.  When pushed to the corner, IBM executive weasels have a
history of surrendering.
