Microsoft is up to one of their old tricks to stifle competition.
That is to say, they are offering preferential pricing and other
favors in exchange for a vendor reducing or dropping support for a
competitor (Lindows OS here.)  Doesn't this trick violate the
Department of Justice's consent decree?
