Are you subscribed to any Microsoft mailing or announcements lists?
Presumably you are not and then I would say that Microsoft is spamming
again.  If I didn't know their background, I would say that's amazing
hypocrisy from them given that they had a representative at the FTC
Spam Conference last week who claimed that Microsoft supports opt-in
and not opt-out.  But then, that's very typical of spammers.  They all
pretty much say "Those other guys' e-mail is spam and something should
be done about it, but our e-mail isn't spam."
