[Am-info] E-mail virus picks up speed

Sure, it's good to see viruses attributed where they belong, but the 
politics of this sort of thing is pretty fascinating. I've never got 
much milage out of suggesting that using an OS other than Windows is a 
useful way protecting one's self against virus attacks. Invariably, the 
response I get is, "If [...] OS was more popular, it would be attacked 
just as often as Windows."

This has always struck me as a very theoretical response to an entirely 
practical problem, but a great many people seem determined to stick 
with it.
