Ah, yes, I was just about to post this one too. I found it amusing
that the Microsoft sales reps were fixated on Linux. It must have
deflated them somewhat when they found out that Linux was not involved
in the company's switch to open source software.
Also, I wonder how the sales reps can "require" that the company
disclose their reasons for using open source. Politely asking isn't
enough? What if the company refused? They would certainly be within
their rights to say that this information is a trade secret and refuse
to disclose it. From the sheer arrogance of the reps, this certainly
sounds like a play ripped out of Microsoft's standard book.
