Unix C++ Programmer - NYC

Leading European/US derivatives trading house currently looking for
experienced C++ programmer.  Must have the ability to write 
well-designed, robust, fast and efficient UNIX front and back end 
applications in C++. Master the event-driven, multi-threaded client 
server pricing and point to point order routing architecture of a 
sophisticated trading system in fully automated, electronic and 
floor-trading environments.  Emphasis will be on developing automated 
interfaces to worldwide stock and derivatives exchanges.  Financial 
knowledge a plus.

Ideal candidate will be team oriented and have 2+ years programming
experience in commerical C++ atmosphere.  Computer Science degree 
preferred. Must be able to grasp concepts and work with existing 
programs under little supervision.  Hours are 8am-6pm with additional 
hours as needed.  Very fast paced, but friendly environment.
