Microsoft To Boost Investments In India
Bill Gates continues to be treated like royalty during his visit
to India--and why not? Microsoft plans to spend $400 million on
software and business development in India during the next three
years, and Gates says the company will supply Web-building
software free of charge to the government of Bangalore, often
dubbed the Silicon Valley of the East, as part of an E-governance
initiative.
