[Am-info] The Register: Of TCPA, Palladium and Werner von Braun

Here's an article about a debate on TCPA and Palladium which I had
been looking forward to since hearing about it.  A Microsoft and a
TCPA representative were on the pro side and Linux guru Alan Cox and
Ross Anderson, writer of a FAQ on TCPA, were on the anti side.  I
found it most interesting here that Palladium is akin to an operating
system and runs independent of Windows.  It means that it could be
licenced independently.  Also Palladium wouldn't be affected by the
DOJ-Microsoft settlement due to the security API carve out.
