"|MS does not yet have legislative powers. Whatever it says in the
"|EULA has  nothing to do with its legal standing. The EULA is not a
"|statute created  by the government. I do not believe MS has any
"|power to stipulate the  environment in which any of its products run
"|irrespective of what it says  in the EULA.

The status under contract law of restrictive provisions in shrinkwrap
and clickwrap licenses is a matter that remains fluid in the courts.
